[SMM HRC Weekly Balance & Social Inventory Overview] Demand Suppressed, Social Inventory Starts to Build Up

This week, SMM's statistics show that the HRC social inventory across 86 warehouses nationwide (large sample) reached 3.0186 million mt, up 25,900 mt (+0.87% MoM), and down 16.48% YoY. Social inventory began to build up this week. By region, except for the east China market, which continued destocking, inventory buildup was observed in south China, central China, north China, and north-east China, with the buildup accelerating in north China.
