[SMM Analysis: Export Window Closed, Recent Operating Rates of Aluminum Extrusion] This week, the weekly operating rate of the domestic aluminum processing industry decreased by 1 percentage point WoW to 49.80%. The main reasons were the onset of the off-season in demand and the conclusion of the rush to deliver export orders, leading to a decline in the operating rate of domestic aluminum extrusion enterprises. By segment, the construction extrusion sector in South China received positive news, as some aluminum extrusion plants secured year-end project rush orders, which partially supported this week's operating rate. For industrial extrusion, NEV orders remained stable, while PV extrusion was impacted by reduced production schedules of downstream components, resulting in a significant weakening of orders from midstream and downstream suppliers, dragging down the industry's operating rate. Overall, the off-season sentiment has resurfaced in the industry, and the domestic aluminum extrusion operating rate is likely to continue fluctuating downward in the short term.
