【SMM Aluminum Brief Review: The Most-Traded SHFE Aluminum Contract Closes Lower, Alumina Prices Remain Stable in the Short Term】On the macro front, global liquidity remains ample, with domestic markets releasing positive signals again. On the fundamentals side, high operating costs of aluminum have led to reduced capacity in some areas. Although aluminum ingot social inventory has started to build up due to sluggish consumption, it remains below 600,000 mt, a relatively low level. Aluminum prices are expected to fluctuate in the short term. Changes in the macro situation and the direction of aluminum costs are still the biggest variables at present.
