[Sodium Battery: Huineng Technology's 1GWh Sodium Battery Filing] On December 6, 2024, Huineng Technology (Qingyuan) Co., Ltd.'s sodium-ion battery project officially passed the filing review. This project is the first phase, expected to produce 1GWh of sodium-ion batteries annually, with a total investment of 300 million yuan. The project is located in the Guangde (Yingde) Industrial Park startup area of the Qingyuan-Guangzhou Economic Special Cooperation Zone, within the factory of Hampton Thermal Technology Co., Ltd. in Yingde City. The project includes the purchase of necessary equipment, the construction of a battery production line, and related laboratories, warehouses, and testing facilities. The project covers an area of 8,500 m², with a total building area of 20,928 m², encompassing production workshops, laboratories, dining halls, etc. The project will also include the construction of roads, landscaping, environmental protection facilities, and the improvement of public auxiliary projects such as power supply and distribution, water supply and drainage, fire protection, and network infrastructure.
