Jiangxi Releases Notice on Proposed Approval of Environmental Impact Report for Ruijin Metal's Secondary Aluminum Production Project

The Jiangxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment has released a notice regarding the proposed approval of the Environmental Impact Report for the Jiangxi Ruijin Metal's project, which aims to produce 100,000 mt of secondary aluminum annually and utilize self-produced aluminum ash and slag resources. The product plan for this project includes an annual output of 30,000 mt of aluminum ingot, 70,000 mt of aluminum liquid, and 10,000 mt of high-alumina by-products. The aluminum ingot and aluminum liquid will adhere to the relevant standards of "Die-Cast Aluminum Alloy" (GB/T 15115-2024) and "Cast Aluminum Alloy Ingot" (GB/T 8733-2016), while the high-alumina material will meet the requirements for pre-treated aluminum ash composition as specified in the "Technical Specification for Aluminum Ash Used to Replace Bauxite Ore" (T/CSTM 00905-2023).
