China Holds Industry Damage Defense Meeting for Anti-dumping Cases on Aluminum Extrusion Products

On November 22, regarding the industry damage defense work for the anti-dumping investigations initiated by Thailand and Israel on Chinese aluminum extrusion products in July 2024, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, in conjunction with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, held a phase work meeting in Foshan. The meeting aimed to review the progress of the industry's defense work since the case was filed and to discuss the key points of the next steps. The meeting received strong support from the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Foshan Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and the Nanhai District Aluminum Extrusion Industry Association. Li Defeng, Deputy Secretary General of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Liao Liwen, Second-level Surveyor of the Trade Remedies and Industry Damage Investigation Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, and Lin Min, Director of the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting was chaired by Mo Xinda, Director of the Light Metals Department of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.
