SMM Survey: Domestic Zinc Ingot Inventory Rises, Shanghai Inventory Declines

[SMM Data] SMM, November 18: According to an SMM survey, as of Monday (November 18), the total zinc ingot inventory in seven regions surveyed by SMM was 127,900 mt, an increase of 4,300 mt compared to November 11 and an increase of 500 mt compared to November 14, indicating a rise in domestic inventory. Inventory in the Shanghai area saw a significant decrease, with almost no warehouse deliveries over the weekend and downstream buyers taking advantage of low prices to pick up goods, leading to a sharp decline in overall inventory. Inventory in Guangdong and Tianjin areas increased, mainly due to traders continuing to deliver to warehouses near the delivery weekend, resulting in inventory growth in both regions. Overall, the original three regions saw an increase of 300 mt, and the seven regions saw an increase of 500 mt.
