SMM, Nov 14: In addition to the real estate sector and the automotive sector, the downstream of die-casting zinc alloy also involves small hardware sectors such as luggage zippers. According to some enterprises, November is the traditional peak season for luggage zippers. So, what is the current downstream consumption of die-casting zinc alloy zipper hardware? Has the downstream peak season really arrived? Feedback from 11 downstream enterprises involved in luggage zipper showed orders are poor.

In summary, the current zinc price has been fluctuating around 25,000 yuan/mt, and most enterprises' end-use zipper orders are in a relatively weak state. A very small number of enterprises may have seen a slight improvement in downstream orders, but overall, the downstream luggage zipper-related small hardware orders are still in off-season. Moreover, most enterprises are not optimistic about subsequent consumption. If the zinc price drops back slightly, it is expected to drive an increase in downstream orders.
