【Hot Topic Tracking at the Site of SMM Xiamen 2024 Asia-Pacific Nickel-Chromium-Manganese Stainless Steel Conference】In his speech on November 6th, Denis Sharypin, Strategic Marketing Director of Russian Nickel, pointed out that despite the rising sales of new energy vehicles, the growth of ternary precursor production has slowed down due to the surge in production of lithium iron phosphate batteries. Furthermore, the production of precursors in other countries is only one-sixth of that in China. It is estimated that nickel usage in alloys and special steels in China will experience double-digit growth between 2023 and 2025, while nickel usage in this sector outside China is expected to grow moderately.
