[SMM Data] SMM News on November 4: According to SMM research, as of this Monday (November 4), the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven regions tracked by SMM stood at 121,200 tonnes, a decrease of 1,200 tonnes compared to October 28 but an increase of 2,300 tonnes compared to October 31, marking an increase in domestic inventory levels. Inventory in the Shanghai region increased, with no significant increase in weekend arrivals at warehouses. However, high zinc prices led to downstream buyers being cautious, resulting in minimal overall inventory changes. Inventory in Guangdong also increased, with normal weekend arrivals. Due to downstream rigid demand, overall inventory rose slightly. Inventory in the Tianjin region increased significantly, with normal weekend arrivals at warehouses. However, under the influence of environmental protection measures, corporate purchases decreased, leading to an overall increase in inventory. Overall, inventory in the original three regions increased by 2,500 tonnes, and inventory in the seven regions increased by 2,300 tonnes.
