[SMM Data] SMM News on October 31: According to SMM's research, as of Thursday (October 31) this week, the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven regions tracked by SMM stood at 118,900 tonnes, a decrease of 7,000 tonnes compared to October 24 and 3,500 tonnes compared to October 28, indicating a decline in domestic inventory. Inventory in the Shanghai region declined, with no improvement in warehouse arrivals during the week. Rigid demand from downstream enterprises led to an overall reduction in inventory. Inventory in Guangdong also declined, with a notable reduction in arrivals during the week. With downstream procurement and pickups, overall inventory dropped. In Tianjin, inventory increased slightly. With the resumption of transportation, arrivals in Tianjin increased. Coupled with environmental protection warnings issued in multiple regions during the week, overall inventory rose marginally. Overall, inventory in the original three regions decreased by 3,300 tonnes, and inventory in the seven regions decreased by 3,500 tonnes.
