On October 22, the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the launch of tenders for seven mining exploration licenses in Mecca and Riyadh, attracting domestic and foreign investors to bid and jointly develop mining areas covering a total area of 1,070 square kilometers.

The mining areas involved in this tender are rich in valuable mineral resources such as gold, copper, zinc, lead, and silver. Among them, there are four mining areas in Mecca, including Wadi Al-Lait, covering an area of 243 square kilometers, rich in copper, zinc, and gold deposits; Jabal Baydan, spanning 244 square kilometers, with copper, gold, zinc, silver, and lead deposits; Um Al-Jiran, covering 78 square kilometers, containing copper, lead, and gold; and Jabal Al-Dama, with an area of 210 square kilometers, rich in silver, lead, and zinc deposits.
