[An Aluminum Electrolysis Plant with an Annual Capacity of 120,000 Tons Will Be Completed in Angola by 2025] João Baptista Borges, Angola's Minister of Energy and Water Resources, revealed that the first phase of construction of Angola's annual aluminum electrolysis plant, with an annual capacity of 120,000 tons, has been initiated in Barra do Dande in July 2024. The plant is expected to be completed in 2025, creating approximately 3,000 jobs. This project will also promote the localized production of aluminum cables.
