Sichuan Zhongfu Plant Launches 20MW Photovoltaic Project, Aiming for Carbon Reduction and Green Aluminum Industry Boost

On the morning of September 26th, the 20MW photovoltaic project in Sichuan Zhongfu Plant commenced. The project leverages approximately 180,000 square meters of roof space at Sichuan Zhongfu Plant for collaborative development, with a total investment of approximately RMB 70 million. It is estimated to have an installed capacity of 20MW. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate approximately 15 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving over 1,800 tonnes of standard coal per year. Once connected to the grid, the project will further reduce the carbon content of the company's products and enhance the green advantages of the aluminum industry chain.
