[Weekly Operating Rate of Alumina] According to SMM data, as of this Thursday, the weekly operating rate of alumina nationwide decreased by 0.1 percentage points from the previous week to 83.41%. Among them, the weekly operating rate of alumina in Shandong decreased by 3.37 percentage points to 89.33% compared with the previous week, mainly due to the lining of a roaster in an alumina plant falling off and entering maintenance, which is expected to last for 15-20 days, involving a production capacity of 1 million tons/year; the weekly operating rate of alumina in Guangxi increased by 3.24 percentage points to 95.15% compared with the previous week; the weekly operating rate of alumina in Guizhou rebounded by 6.9 percentage points from the previous week, mainly due to the fact that an alumina plant completed its technical renovation last week and has now resumed production.
