Zinc Ingot Inventories Decline Across Seven Regions, Reflecting Tightening Domestic Supply: SMM Data

[SMM Data] SMM News on September 12: According to SMM research, as of Thursday (September 12), the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven regions tracked by SMM was 113,400 tonnes, a decrease of 10,500 tonnes from September 5 and 4,200 tonnes from September 9, indicating a decline in domestic inventory. Inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong, and Tianjin all decreased, primarily due to the lack of improvement in the arrival of goods at warehouses in these three regions during the week, coupled with the approaching Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, during which downstream enterprises continued to withdraw raw materials from their stockpiles, leading to a continuous decline in inventories in these three regions. Overall, inventories in the original three regions decreased by 2,900 tonnes, and inventories in the seven regions decreased by 4,200 tonnes.
