[SMM Survey: Production Activity of Leading Secondary Aluminum Alloy Enterprises Remains Stable This Week] The production activity of leading secondary aluminum enterprises stayed at 53.6% this week, remaining unchanged from the previous week. As September begins, the long-awaited peak consumption season for the secondary aluminum industry has yet to arrive. Most enterprises have maintained stable or slightly increased order volumes, while some have even seen a weakening in orders. During the week, the production activity of leading enterprises remained basically stable, and the expected significant rebound in production activity driven by orders has not materialized. In addition, some enterprises have reduced their production activity due to material shortages or concerns about the cancellation of tax rebates. Overall, whether the "golden September" peak season will materialize and the status of tax rebates in various regions remain to be seen, making it difficult for short-term secondary aluminum production activity to rebound significantly.
