[SMM Data] SMM News on September 5: According to SMM research, as of Thursday (September 5), the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven regions tracked by SMM was 123,900 tonnes, a decrease of 3,200 tonnes from August 29 and 4,900 tonnes from September 2, indicating a decline in domestic inventory. The inventory reduction in Shanghai was significant, with fewer arrivals at warehouses during the week due to continuous maintenance of smelters, leading to a decrease in warehouse inventory; the inventory in Guangdong also decreased slightly, with limited increases in warehouse arrivals during the week, but combined with downstream enterprises' purchases at low prices, warehouse inventory continued to decline; the inventory in Tianjin decreased, with no improvement in the arrival of zinc ingots at warehouses during the week, leading to a further decline in overall inventory. Overall, the inventory in the original three regions decreased by 4,900 tonnes, and the inventory in seven regions decreased by 4,900 tonnes.
