【Caustic Soda Exports Down 3.5% YoY from January to July 2024】According to customs data, China's caustic soda exports amounted to 224,800 tonnes in July 2024, with solid caustic soda exports reaching 31,900 tonnes and liquid caustic soda exports totaling 192,900 tonnes. From January to July 2024, China's cumulative caustic soda exports stood at 1,584,600 tonnes, marking a year-on-year decrease of 3.54%. Among them, cumulative solid caustic soda exports fell by 23.67% YoY to 263,500 tonnes, while cumulative liquid caustic soda exports increased by 1.78% YoY to 1,321,100 tonnes. During the same period, China's liquid caustic soda was mainly exported to countries and regions such as Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan (China), Vietnam, and Papua New Guinea.
