Tongwei's 2024 Semi-Annual Report Shows Revenue Decline but Surge in Polysilicon, Solar Cell, and Module Sales

In the first half of 2024, Tongwei's operating revenue reached RMB 43.797 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 40.87%, with a net profit attributable to owners of the parent company of -RMB 3.129 billion.

During the first half of 2024, Tongwei sold 228,900 tons of polysilicon, representing a year-on-year increase of 28.82%. The company sold 35GW of solar cells (including self-use) and 18.67GW of solar modules, up 108.36% year-on-year. According to the company's production capacity planning, it is expected that from 2024 to 2026, Tongwei's high-purity crystalline silicon production capacity will reach 8-10 million tons, solar cell production capacity will reach 130-150GW, and module production capacity will reach 80-100GW.
