[Merry Electronics Reports Revenue of RMB 1.65 Billion in the First Half of the Year] Recently, Merry Electronics released its semi-annual report for 2024, revealing that in the first half of this year, Chongqing Merry Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. achieved a revenue of RMB 1.654 billion, up 2.7% year-on-year. Among this, automotive parts generated a revenue of RMB 1.024 billion, surging 36.89% year-on-year; while the revenue from telecommunication structural components amounted to RMB 556 million, down 33.50% year-on-year. The net profit for the first half of the year suffered a loss of RMB 18.4717 million, a decrease of 115.26% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the company's overseas sales revenue in the first half was RMB 414 million, accounting for 25.02% of the total operating revenue. During the reporting period, the company's automotive business achieved robust growth compared to the same period last year. However, due to various factors such as global macroeconomic fluctuations and policy adjustments, as well as the phased slowdown in the construction pace of base stations by the company's major overseas customers, the company's telecommunication business experienced a significant decline from the same period last year, resulting in a slowdown in the growth rate of the company's operating revenue.
