The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price stands at 74,564 yuan/ton, a decrease of 65 yuan/ton from the previous working day; battery-grade lithium carbonate ranges from 71,800 to 77,600 yuan/ton, with an average price of 74,700 yuan/ton, remaining flat compared to the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate ranges from 69,300 to 70,200 yuan/ton, with an average price of 69,750 yuan/ton, also unchanged from the previous working day. Amid the continuous decline in spot prices of lithium carbonate, most lithium salt factories are experiencing heightened sentiment to maintain prices due to cost pressures. Material factories are currently focusing on rigid demand purchases and adopting a cautious wait-and-see attitude. Currently, small and medium-sized material factories and traders in the lithium carbonate spot market are relatively active.
