According to the official website of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the bureau has revised the "Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Automobile Industry" and formed the "Opinions (Public Consultation Draft)", which is now open to the public for comments. The consultation draft shows that Guangzhou will strive to build a "City of Smart Vehicles" and strive to achieve an annual automobile output of over 3.2 million units by 2027, with the output value of automobile manufacturing above designated size exceeding 670 billion yuan, achieving international competitiveness.
