Today, SMM A00 aluminum prices fell by 80 yuan/mt compared to the previous working day, reporting at 18,750 yuan/mt. Foshan A00 aluminum reported at 18,690 yuan/mt, down by 60 yuan/mt compared to the previous working day. The aluminum prices dropped again today, while aluminium billet conversion margins increased. In the off-season, the wait-and-see sentiment among downstream buyers led to fewer purchases and weaker actual transactions.

Approaching noon, the conversion margins of φ120 and φ178 billets in south China were concentrated around 460 yuan/mt, and the conversion margins of φ90 billets were 510 yuan/mt, down 10 yuan/mt compared to the previous working day. The Wuxi market saw moderate transactions, with the conversion margins of φ120 billets at 380 yuan/mt and φ90 billets at 520 yuan/mt, flat compared to the previous working day. In Nanchang, the conversion margins of φ120 billets were reported at 420 yuan/mt and φ90 billets at 500 yuan/mt, down 20 yuan/mt compared to the previous working day. The weekly average price of conversion margins in Linyi, Shandong, increased by 40 yuan/mt compared to the previous week, with the weekly average price of φ120 billets around 300 yuan/mt.
