Expanding the production capacity of square and cylindrical lithium batteries! EVE Energy invests RMB 3.2 billion overseas" SMM has learned that on July 6, EVE Energy announced that the company approved the proposal on July 5 to invest in the construction of energy storage batteries and consumer battery manufacturing projects in Malaysia by its grandchild company. The 36th meeting of the board of directors also approved the proposal, agreeing to the investment in the energy storage battery and consumer battery manufacturing project (hereinafter referred to as "the project") by the wholly-owned grandchild company, EVE Energy Malaysia Limited, with its own and self-raised funds. The investment amount will not exceed RMB 3,277,070,000 (calculated at the exchange rate of USD to RMB on July 5, 2024, which is 1:7.1289, approximately USD 459.69 million, subject to the actual exchange rate at the time of investment).
