Today, spot silver prices started at $30.403/ounce. The ex-factory reference price of SMM 1# silver averaged 8,013 yuan/kilogram in the morning, down 29 yuan/kilogram from yesterday, a decrease of 0.36%. According to SMM, the spot silver was still quoted at a discount today, with some companies having small transactions. Suppliers showed a strong willingness to sell, but transactions were scarce.
