Nickel inventories in Shanghai bonded zone decreased 400 mt

SMM data shows nickel stocks in Shanghai bonded zone decreased last week, standing at 4,760 mt, including 300 mt of nickel briquette and 4,460 mt of nickel plate. This is mostly because the increased profits of producing nickel sulphate by dissolving nickel briquettes with sulfuric acid and shortage of intermediate products drove up demand for nickel briquettes among domestic nickel salt plants. Nickel plate supply rose as overseas long-term orders arrived.
