According to SMM research, as of this Monday (March 18), the total zinc ingot inventory in seven places was 198,500 mt, an increase of 12,400 mt from March 11, and an increase of 10,600 mt from March 14. Domestic stocks grew. The inventory in Shanghai increased significantly during the week, mainly because more goods arrived at the Shanghai warehouse on weekends, and the downstream transactions was poor, so the overall inventory continued to increase; the inventory in Guangdong increased, and the arrivals in Guangdong were normal during the week, and the downstream purchased only as needed. The overall inventory increased slightly; the inventory in Tianjin increased significantly, with more goods arriving at warehouses on weekends, coupled with the downstream environmental protection production restrictions, leading to poor demand and less delivery, the overall inventory increased. Overall, inventories in three places increased by 6,700 mt, and inventories in the seven places increased by 10,600 mt.
