The main 2404 copper contract in Shanghai opened higher at RMB 69,070 per ton overnight, then fell to a low of RMB 68,790 per ton in the early and mid-trading session. After a slight rebound at the end of the trading session, prices finally closed at RMB 68,860 per ton.
