SMM Data: USGS Releases 2023 U.S. Rare Earth Industry Data

Recently, the USGS released a data report on the U.S. rare earth industry for 2023. In terms of production: U.S. rare earth concentrate production was 43,000 tons, an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year; compounds and metals reached 250 tons, a significant increase compared to 2022, mainly due to the downstream development of rare earth concentrate plants.
