SHANGHAI, Jan 31 (SMM) –Today, the price of SMM A00 aluminum fell by 40 yuan/mt compared with the previous working day, and was reported at 18,970 yuan/mt. Foshan A00 aluminum price was reported at 18,970 yuan/mt, down by 30 yuan/mt. The base price of aluminum fell slightly, and processing fees in east China remained stable overall. Some traders in south China chose to stock up on the dip, and processing fees improved. Near noon, the transaction price of Φ120Φ178 aluminum rod processing fee in south China was around 140 yuan/mt, and the processing fee of Φ90 rod was 200 yuan/mt, an increase of 90 yuan/mt compared with the previous working day.

In east China, the market turnover in Wuxi was average, and some traders were stocking up, but processing fees remained stable. Near noon, the transaction price of Φ120 aluminum rod processing fee was 140 yuan/mt, and the transaction price of Φ90 small rod processing fee was 240 yuan/mt, which was the same as the previous working day. The market turnover in Nanchang was thin, with processing fees of 150 yuan/mt for Φ120 rods and 190 yuan/mt for Φ90 rods. The average price of processing fees in Linyi, Shandong this week is the same as last week, and the average weekly price of Φ120 aluminum rods is around 290 yuan/mt.
