China's PV glass exports in December 2023 were 281,500 mt, down 5.76% MoM but up 28.25% YoY. Total 2023 exports hit 3.54 million mt, up 57.13% YoY. The largest December share went to Vietnam, at 62,400 mt, down 23.25% MoM.
Vietnam was China's top PV glass export destination in December at 62,400 mt, down 23.25% MoM. The top five destinations were Vietnam, India, the US, Thailand, and Indonesia, with Indonesia up to fifth, Malaysia down to eighth, South Korea steady at sixth, and Mexico, Cambodia, and Turkey at seventh, ninth, and tenth. Top five countries made up 66.91% of total exports, down 5 percentage points MoM.
December exports to Vietnam were 62,400 mt, down 23.25% MoM, 22.15% of total. India imported 54,800 mt, a slight 0.74% rise, 19.48% of total. The US took 32,200 mt, up 8.52%, 11.45% of total. Thailand's 26,900 mt marked a 31.38% drop, 9.53% of total. Indonesia's 12,000 mt entered the top five, 4.27% of total. South Korea's 10,200 mt decreased slightly, 3.63% of total. Malaysia fell to eighth with 7,400 mt.
