The Guangdong Provincial Government and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially approved the establishment of a national-local joint construction new energy storage innovation center in Guangdong. This is the first national-local joint construction manufacturing innovation center in our province, and also the only national innovation center in the field of new energy storage. The energy storage center is led by the Southern Power Grid, and is jointly established by leading upstream and downstream enterprises in new energy storage materials, chips, batteries, system integration, investment and operation. It focuses on key technical research and development in areas such as electrochemical energy storage, mechanical energy storage, superconducting energy storage, thermal energy storage, and hydrogen energy, as well as the application of scientific and technological achievements.
