The German copper producer Aurubis plans to invest 330 million euros (equivalent to 355.58 million US dollars) to build a precious metals processing plant at its factory in Hamburg, Germany.
The new precious metals refinery (PMR) will be integrated with the existing facilities to form a comprehensive area for processing precious metals.
Out of the 330 million euros, 300 million euros will be invested in the PMR. The remaining 30 million euros will be used to further enhance environmental protection and expand the use of reduced diffuse emission systems in the production of raw copper.
