China National Machinery Industry Survey Institute Signs Investment for 1GW Energy Storage Power Station Project in Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone

On December 11th, Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province successfully held the investment signing ceremony for the "1GW Energy Storage Power Station" project with China National Machinery Industry Corporation's Institute of Mechanical Industry Survey and Design Research (China National Machinery Industry Survey Institute). The China National Machinery Industry Survey Institute plans to build a 1GW capacity energy storage power station demonstration project in Huishan Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan and a registered capital of 600 million yuan. The project will adopt the "integration of generation, grid, load, and storage" operation mode, effectively improving the utilization of electric power resources in the area and reducing the electricity costs for key enterprises. It is an important development path for building a new type of power system.
