December Aluminum Fluoride Tender Price Was Sharply Cut

For this week (December 4th to December 7th), the fluorite salt market saw moderate new order signings. As of Dec 7, the SMM quote for aluminum fluoride was between 9,500 and 9,800 yuan/mt, down 6.31% WoW. The quote for cryolite was between 6,500 and 7,600 yuan/mt, down 0.7% WoW.

At the month's start, China Aluminum Corp announced its aluminum fluoride tender price at 9,700 yuan/mt, down 4.9% MoM. While raw material prices have remained stable this week, there is anticipation of a potential decline. As market prices continue to fall, aluminum fluoride companies face slim profit margins, alongside a weakening in aluminum demand. SMM predicts that aluminum fluoride prices will likely remain weak in the short term.
