According to reports, Tesla is planning to restart the construction of the third phase of its car factory in Shanghai. Tesla had previously announced in April that it would build a new 40GWh energy storage battery factory in Shanghai, which is set to start production in the second quarter of 2024. At that time, there was no mention of the expansion of the car factory. In addition, Tesla's energy storage battery products produced in Shanghai starting in 2024 will be sold in China. The Shanghai factory's energy storage project has already hired a research and development director and is currently looking for a sales director.
