At zero o'clock on September 24th, the No. 2 unit of Changcheng Power Generation Company of Inner Mongolia Energy Group successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation and officially put into commercial operation. Thus, the first million-kilowatt thermal power unit project of Inner Mongolia Energy Group has entered the full-capacity commercial operation stage.

It is reported that the 2×1 million kilowatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation unit of Changcheng Power Generation is one of the supporting power sources of Shanghai Miao to Shandong Linyi ± 800 kV DC UHV transmission line. It is the first demonstration intelligent and efficient power plant built by the affiliated units of Inner Mongolia Energy Group in the whole chain, with general contracting, design, construction, materials, supervision, commissioning and operation and maintenance. It has a lower engineering cost level in the million-kilowatt thermal power units in China.
