Secondary Lead: Spot market failed to keep up with the rise

SHANGHAI, Aug 24 (SMM) - Today, the SMM price of secondary refined lead rose 25 yuan/mt from yesterday. The average discount of refined lead against SMM 1# lead in Zhejiang was about 100 yuan/mt, ex-factory. And the transaction was quiet; the ex-factory price of refined lead including tax was 15950 yuan/mt in Anhui, and the transaction was poor; the ex-factory price of refined lead in Sichuan was 15950 yuan yuan/mt, with poor transaction.

Lead futures have risen for several days in a row, while the spot market failed to keep up with the rise. Downstream lead-acid battery companies mainly picked up goods under long-term contracts, and some companies have no plans to purchase under small orders for the time being.
