Total Inventory Of Zinc Ingots In Seven Chinese Cities Went Down Last Week

According to SMM's research, as of last Friday (July 21), the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven Chinese cities surveyed by SMM was 118,300 mt, a decrease of 6,800 mt from Monday (July 17th) and an increase of 1,500 mt fromJuly 14. Domestic inventories have decreased. In Shanghai, there were fewer arrivals during the week, and there were also cases of cross-regional circulation of imported zinc ingots, leading to a significant reduction in inventory.

In Guangdong, there were generally normal arrivals and shipments, and the inventory remained stable.

In Tianjin, arrivals decreased during the week, and with the decline in zinc prices, downstream enterprises slightly increased their purchases, driving down inventory. Overall, the inventories of Shanghai, Guangdong, and Tianjin decreased by 6,300 mt, and the total inventory in the seven cities nationwide decreased by 6,800 mt.
