#0 zinc in Ningbo was quoted with premiums of 180-240 yuan/mt over SHFE 2307 zinc contract last week, and with discounts of 60 yuan/mt to premiums of 0 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices. Spot quotes against SHFE zinc prices and over Shanghai prices both fell.

Downstream enthusiasm for purchasing was weak amid rising zinc prices. Although the volume of imported zinc during the week slightly decreased compared with the prior week, it still met the downstream demand. Sales of domestic regular brands remained lacklustre last week. This week, the drop in spot premiums will narrow.
