Weekly SHFE And LME Aluminium Price Review

SHANGHAI, May 22 (SMM) - The most-traded SHFE 2306 aluminium contract opened at 17,990 yuan/mt last Monday and went down to 17,945 yuan/mt on the same day, but fluctuated upwards in the following days, hitting a weekly high of 18,545 yuan/mt on Thursday before closing at 18,450 yuan/mt as of CST 15:00, up 580 yuan/mt or 3.25% on the week.

LME aluminium opened at $2,243/mt last Monday, with its weekly low and high at $2,221.5/mt and $2,309/mt respectively before trading at $2,285/mt as of CST 15 on Friday, up $42/mt or 1.87% on the week.
