SMM Daily Comments (Apr 13): Most Base Metals Closed Higher, Ferrous Metals Prices Fell across the Board with Iron Ore Plunging over

SHANGHAI, Apr 13 - The U.S. dollar fluctuated slightly today. As of 15:04 CST, the U.S. dollar index rose 0.02%.

Crude oil futures dipped today. As of 15:04, WTI oil and Brent oil fell 0.19% and 0.31% respectively.

As of the closing of the intraday session, SHFE nickel fell 0.4% while SHFE tin rose 0.78%. SHFE copper, aluminium, and lead gained nearly 0.3%. SHFE zinc climbed 0.05%. Coke rose about 0.4%, while iron ore slumped more than 3%, hot-rolled coil went down 1.35%, rebar dropped 0.72%, and stainless steel fell 0.59%.
