Rare Earth Concentrate Prices Diverged

SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) - Rare earth concentrate prices fluctuated last week The prices of rare earth carbonate fell from 44,500-45,000 yuan/mt to 42,100-42,500 yuan/mt last Friday, a drop of about 5.5%; prices of medium yttrium-rich europium ore stood at 237,000-238,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of about 0.2%.

The content of PrNd in rare earth carbonate was higher, and thus the prices of rare earth carbonate were significantly affected by the falling PrNd prices. The price of medium yttrium-rich europium ore fluctuated within a narrow range as the prices of praseodymium, neodymium, dysprosium and terbium varied.
