Prices of SMM Industrial Silicon Products Fall while Prices of Silicon Wafers, Modules, and Cells Remain Stable

SHANGHAI, Mar 22 (SMM) - SMM prices of industrial silicon products diverged. Specifically, 441# silicon metal prices were cut by 200-250 yuan/mt and quoted at 16,500-16,700 yuan/mt in Kunming, averaging at 16,600 yuan/mt. The 3303# silicon metal prices were reduced by 100-200 yuan/mt and quoted at 17,300-17,500 yuan/mt in east China, averaging at 17,400 yuan/mt. Specifically, standard #553 silicon metal prices were cut by 150-200 yuan/mt and quoted at 15,800-16,000 yuan/mt at Huangpu Port, averaging at 15,900 yuan/mt. The above-standard 553# silicon metal prices were reduced by 150-250 yuan/mt and quoted at 16,300-16,500 yuan/mt at Tianjin Port, averaging at 16,400 yuan/mt. Prices of silicon powder generally fell 200 yuan/mt. In the photovoltaic industry chain, the prices of polysilicon, silicon wafers, modules, and cells were all flat compared with the previous trading day.
