This is due to the good performance of Compa ñ í a Minera Antamina as a major producer, which accounts for 19.2% of the total copper production in Peru, followed by Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde and Southern Peru Copper Corporation, which account for 18.8% and 14.0% respectively.
