LME Zinc Inventories Continued to Fall, SHFE Zinc Inventories Increased for Four Consecutive Weeks

SHANGHAI, Jan 31 — LME zinc inventories remain on the decline despite a slower drop, according to LME data. LME zinc stocks hit a multiple-year low and currently stand at 17,425 mt.

As of the week of January 20, SHFE zinc inventories grew for four weeks on end, and stood at 44,248 mt, with a weekly gain of 26.07%, the highest in two and a half months.
