[last Friday's quotation: metals rose and fell each other, Shanghai nickel fell more than 10% black strong] during the night trading on March 25, metals in the inner market were mixed, of which Shanghai nickel fell more than 10%, Shanghai tin fell more than 1%, and Shanghai copper fell 0.43%. Shanghai lead closed up 0.81%, while Shanghai aluminum and zinc rose slightly to 0.3% and 0.44%, respectively. Black series, only the main force of stainless steel floating green, a decrease of 4.8%. The increase of iron ore was 3.48% and that of hot rolling was 1.38%. In the coal sector, only thermal coal fell 0.37%, while coking coal and coke closed up to 1.39% and 1.29%, respectively.

Crude oil: international oil prices rose on Friday, with cloth oil up 1.33% and US oil up 0.23%, as traders weighed the missile attack on an oil distribution facility in Saudi Arabia and the possible release of oil reserves by the United States. Two major indicators of crude oil recorded weekly gains, of which Brent crude rose 11.19% a week, while US crude oil rose 9.22%.

On the dollar side: the dollar index rose 0.58 per cent this week, boosted by better US economic data and expectations that the Fed will raise interest rates.

Today's focus is:

Data such as profits of large-scale industrial enterprises from January to February in China on March 27, annual import and export rate in February in Hong Kong, China on March 28, and manufacturing employment index of the Federal Reserve in Dallas in the United States in March.

Metal futures:

By the close of the day, the basic metals in the inner market were mixed. Shanghai nickel rose by more than 12%, Shanghai lead and zinc rose slightly to 0.62% and 0.5% respectively, Shanghai tin fell by 1.85%, Shanghai aluminum fell by 0.82%, and Shanghai copper fell slightly by 0.11%. Black series, only stainless steel fell, down 2.67%; iron ore rose 3.69%, hot rolling increased 1.73%, and thread rose 0.74%. In the coal system, only thermal coal fell slightly by 0.44%, while coking coal and coke both rose by more than 3%.

Precious metals, COMEX gold futures fell on Friday after u.s. bond yields hit a multi-year high, but gold prices rose more than 1.8% weekly, as concerns about the situation in Ukraine and rising prices strengthened gold's attractiveness as a hedge against safety and inflation.

13:30 New York time (01:30 Beijing time on March 26th) the most actively traded April gold futures contract fell 0.41 per cent or $8 to settle at $1954.20 an ounce.
