A few days ago, Hengdian East Magnetic announced that it plans to invest in a new project with an annual production of 148 million high-performance lithium batteries in Hengdian Photovoltaic Park in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. The project plans to use the first phase of the original plant to transform 14200 tons, increase the building area by about 24600 tons, and build a new 18650 cylindrical lithium-ion battery production line.

The project plans to use the first phase of the original plant to transform 14200 tons, increase the building area by about 24600 tons, and build a new 18650 cylindrical lithium-ion battery production line.

The project will be launched in October 2020, completed and gradually put into production in July 2021, subject to the progress approved by the authorized agency of the company.

The investment and construction of the project is based on the combination of the company's development strategic planning and market expansion demand, and the new investment will help to further improve the market competitiveness of the company's lithium battery industry.

레드 메탈 리소시스가 9월 3일 발표한 바에 따르면, 칠레 바예나르 인근 카리살 구리-금-코발트 광구에 속한 파레욘 프로젝트가 첫 황화구리 광석 인도를 완료했다. 이는 프로젝트가 개발 단계에서 실제 광석 판매 및 소규모 생산 단계로 전환되었음을 의미한다. 프로젝트 임차인이자 운영사인 미네라 KMT는 8월 20일과 21일에 칠레 국영 광산회사 ENAMI가 운영하는 바예나르 처리 시설로 첫 광석을 운송했다. 이 이정표는 지난 5월 양측이 광업 계약을 체결한 지 약 3개월 만에 달성된 것으로, 당초 7개월로 예정된 개발 일정보다 약 4개월 앞당겨진 것이다. 파레욘은 카리살 구리-금-코발트 광구의 핵심 자산이다. 이번 첫 광석 인도로 레드 메탈은 로열티 수익을 창출하고, 채굴 및 처리 활동의 추가 확장을 위한 기반을 마련할 것으로 기대된다. 회사는 아직 인도된 광석의 구체적인 코발트 품위, 생산량, 회수율을 공개하지 않았다. 그러나 이 프로젝트의 실제 생산 및 판매 전환은 아프리카 외 지역의 칠레 코발트 자원 공급망에서 새로운 진전을 의미한다.
