ACG Metals’ Gediktepe Sulphide Expansion Nears Completion; First Copper Concentrate Expected in August
ACG Metals said that, as of July 31, 2026, construction of the sulphide expansion project at its Gediktepe mine in Türkiye was substantially complete, with commissioning and punch-listing underway. First copper concentrate production is expected in August, marking the company’s transition into a copper producer.
The primary conveyor network has been completed and is ready for commissioning, while filter presses have been installed and are entering final fitout. Process water ponds are being filled, the compressor room is substantially complete, and sulphide ore has already been loaded into the finger bins. Civil and structural work on the reagent storage facility is also well advanced.
